Revision To ask Ss to review some words of clothes, such as jeans, skirt, jacket (Unit 5) Step2. Presentation (Part A) 1. Introduce the topic with help of a well-known fashion magazine, pictures and fashion labels ( The teacher can use the brands of cars or bags or shoes etc) or put some pictures of different fashion items on the board. 2. Write the topic “ fashion” in large letters and make some simple questions about fashion: 1) What is your favorite fashion? 2) Do you know any fashion film star? 3) What fashion shoe brand you like most? (try to do this task in groups of about four so that students get an opportunity to talk.) 3. Listen to the dialogue between the two dogs Questions: Q1: How many minutes more can Eddie spend in bed ? Focus on the word “spend …on sth/(in) doing sth” Q2: Does Eddie know what to wear today? Q3: Can you guess what to eat for lunch today? Q4: Tell us when to go for lunch every day? Focus on “wh--疑问词+to do…” Q5: What is Eddie wearing today? Focus on the words” wear/put on” For example, wear a skirt, wear a jacket and distinguish the word” put on” Put on a jacket, put on shirt etc Ask the students what they are wearing today? 4.
