C hangchun city, J ilin Prov ince. T h roughout the icebound season( rom the end o N ovem ber to th e m iddle o Feb ruary) the concen trat ions o nutrients,
ch lorophyll a and a lgae at the in ter aces o ice-w ater and w ater- sed mi ent changed s low ly, reach ing their low es t point in January. During th e coldest day s,
