The results showed that content of loss of tobacco from the ends was mainly influenced by the change rate of the proportion of long strands, the proportion of small strands and the pocket number of different ecreteur discs. While keeping the proportion of long strands above 84%, the effects of the proportion of long strands were unconspicuous. The effects of the proportion of long strands and the proportion of small strands on the content of loss tobacco from the ends were obvious. When the proportion of long strands increased and the proportion of small strands decreased, the content of loss of tobacco from the ends decreased.
