In the present study, the existence of EV-2, EV-3, EV-6, EV-9, EV-12 and EV-21 were detected in early-feathering(EF) and late-feathering(LF) of White Leghorn chicken by locus-specific PCR. The results showed that The carrier frequency of EV-21 was 100% in LF of White Leghorn chicken population, whereas ALVE21 was detected with a frequency of 0% in EF of White Leghorn chicken population. The carrier frequency of EV-3 was 76% and 29% in the LF and EF of White Leghorn chicken population. The carrier frequency of EV-9 was 27% in LF population, and was 2% in EF population. No carriers of EV-2, EV-6, EV-12 were detected in two populations.
