As Figure 1 illustrates, alpha olefin producers serve the markets of polyolefins, synthetic lubricants, detergent intermediates, oilfield chemicals, paper industry, additives, etc.? Each derivative market has its own characteristics in terms of demand growth, selling geography, customer base, customer fragmentation, quality requirements, off-take volumes, etc.?
