华 中 科 技 大 学 硕 士 学 位 论 文  摘  要  确证悖论是美国哲学家享佩尔于 1937 年发表的《真理的问题》最早提出的，是 他在研究尼科德标准和等值条件的过程中发现的，并于 1945 年在其作品《确证逻辑 之研究》中展开了更为详细的论述，它包括确证的直觉悖论的确证的逻辑悖论。确 证悖论这一发现引起了科学哲学家的广泛关注，并且他们提出了各自的解决办法， 虽然这些解决办法并不令人满意，但它们丰富了确证理论，并促进了这一理论的发 展。亨佩尔的定性确证理论就是对科学理论评价和检验进行理性重建的成果，认识 论的发展是亨佩尔定性确证思想的出发点和基础，这一理论的目的在于为科学检验 提供一个客观的一般判据。他认为定性确证表达的是语句间的逻辑关系，其理论研 究对象是观察语句与假说语句之间的关系，亨佩尔定性的确证概念属于语义学上的 范畴。 本文试图从三条进路分析这些解决办法，即科学方法论进路、相干性进路、贝 叶斯进路。科学方法论进路认为：确证悖论来自于人们的心理错觉，并试图通过分 析产生这一错觉的原因和修改尼科德标准来消除确证悖论，相干性进路主要是从所 与证据在某种确证环境中与被检验假说的相干性来进行研究的，这一方案的特点是 把一些背景信念引入确证程序中，强调背景信念的重要性。贝叶斯进路的解悖方案 是从定量的角度来进行研究的，其主要特征是使用了贝叶斯定理，通过概率演算来 证明证据对被检验假说的支持力。 本文对以上种进路的解决方案进行了分析和比较，并对其不足进行了质疑。  关键词：确证悖论 尼科德标准  等值条件 I  贝叶斯定理 华 中 科 技 大 学 硕 士 学 位 论 文 Abstract American philosopher Hempel proposed the paradox of confirmation in the Problems of Truth which was published in 1937. The paradox was discovered when he researched Nicod Criteria and Equivalence condition. Hempel then gave a detailed discussion about the paradox in his Studies in the Logic of Confirmation in 1945. Hempel claimed that the paradox of confirmation consisted of intuition paradox and confirmed logical paradox, which attracted wide attention of many philosophers of science. From then on, many scholars put forward a variety of solutions to the paradox. Though these solutions did not completely resolve the paradox, they enriched the theory of confirmation, and promoted the development of this theory. Hempel’s confirmation paradox is the rational reconstruction to the justification and test of scientific theory. The development of epistemology is the standpoint and basis of Hempel’s confirmation theory. This theory aims to provide an objective evidence for scientific justification. Hempel thinks that qualitative confirmation indicates the logic relationship between sentences, and the research object of his theory is about the relationship between observational sentence and hypothetical sentence.
