Reading---Elias’ Story Unit5 Nelson Mandela— a Modern hero 一、Analyze the text (分析教材) The topic of this unit is Nelson Mandela----a modern hero. The story contains two parts, which is told by Elias. This period includes pre-reading,reading and comprehending.I prepare a video in order to have the students get more information about Mandela and it is necessary to introduce some outlines of his life. Elias’ life is introduced to students in reading; Comprehending is to make students get a general comprehension of the text by doing exercises.
