renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system Clinical Study about the Intervention of Yixintai on Plasma of RAAS in Patients with Chronic Heart failure Postgraduate: Fan honghui Tutor: Prof. Guo zhihua ABSTRACT Objective:This study was performed to observe the clinical effects of Yixintai in patients with chronic heart failure (CHF) and to probe its effects on RAAS (rennin–angiotensin-aldosterone system). Methods:60 patients with CHF from the inpatient department were randomly divided into two groups, each 30: the treatment group was treated with Yixintai as well as the base heart failure therapywhile the control group was only treated with the base heart failure therapy .The treatment time was both four weeks. Then observed the changes of the New York Heart Association (NYHA) class , LVEF ,CHF score and traditional Chinese medicine symptom of all patients before and after therapy. The plasma concentration of PRA, Ang and ALD were detected . Results: It was found that after treatment ,the CHF score ,LVEF, and traditional Chinese medicine symptom score of all patients were
