Æ℄ H∞ Æ Æ Æ H∞ H∞ I ABSTRACT Degenerate differential system with delay as an effective tool of emulating models in realistic world have aroused the notice of mathematicians. In the course of practical systems emulation, design, analysis and application research, people found that there were many degenerate and time delay phenomena existing in many practical fields such as management system, ecosystem, power system, financial system, industrial project system and so on, hence, there is very important meaning of studying degenerate differential system with delay. Simultaneously, the stability is a basic problem of dynamical system, so studying the stability of degenerate time delay differential system and with its relative problem has a important value in theory and practicality. In this thesis, the stability and the robust H ∞ control of degenerate differential system with delay are discussed and some important results are also given in it. The organization of this thesis is as follows. In Part 1, we introduce the preliminary knowledge which is necessary in the thesis. we introduce the stability’s concept of degenerate differential system with delay and the relative results of matrix inequality. In Part 2, we give the stability criterion of zero solution for higher-order time-varying degenerate delay differential system by utilizing the Razumikhin theorem.
