外文原文： SAFETY Before operating any machine, remember that no one has ever thought he/she was going to be injured. But it happens! It can happen in a split second when you are least expecting it. An injury can affect you for the rest of your machine before operating any part of the machine control and please keep these safety precautions in mind. 1.Wear safety glasses and side shields at all times. 2.Do not wear rings or jewelry that could get caught in a machine. 3.Do not wear long sleeves, ties, loose fitting clothes, or gloves when operating a machine. These can easily get caught in a moving spindle or chuck and cause severe injuries. 4.Keep long hair covered or tied back while operating a machine. Many severe accidents have occurred when long hair became entangled in moving tooling and machinery. 5.Keep hands away from moving machine parts. 6.Use caution when changing tools. Many cuts occur when a wrench slips. 7.Stop the spindle completely before doing any setup or piece loading and unloading 8.Do not operate a machine unless all safety guards are in place. 9.Metal cutting produces very hot, rapidly moving chips that are very dangerous. Long chips are especially dangerous. You should be protected from chips by guards or shields. You must also always wear safety glasses with side shields to prevent chips form flying into your eyes. Short should not be worn because hot chips can easily burn your legs. Hot chips that land on the floor can easily burn though thin-soled shoes. 10.Many injuries occur during chip handling. Never remove chips form a moving tool. Never handle chips with your hands. Do not use air to remove chips. They are dangerous when blown around and can also be blown into areas of the machine where they can damage the machine. 11.Securely clamp all parts. Make sure your setup is adequate for the job. 12.Use proper methods to lift heavy materials. Aback injury can ruin your career. It does not take an extremely heavy load to ruin your back; bad lifting
