The current research status of heavy metal pollution of road surface sedmi ents in different cities both home and abroadwas introduced. Themain type and content of heavymetal in road surface sedmi ents togetherw ith its occurrencewere summarized and compared. Thebioavailability of theheavymetalwas discussed. The influencing factors of heavymetal in sedmi ent aswell as itsm igration and transformation processwere all analyzed. nd the source ofheavymetalwas judged. Based on this, the development trend of the study on heavymetal pollution and theproblems to be solvedwere pointed out, and the suggestions for controlling the pollution were proposed.
