Abstract:Plant calcium c annel proteins are needed at almost all stages of plant growt and development.

T ey participate in t e regulation of intracellular Ca concentration, and play an important role in t e

trans-membrane transport of Ca in plant cells. Meanw ile, plant calcium c annel proteins not only regu-
late t e polar growt of plant cells and tissues, and participate in plant adaptations to a serious of various
stress factors, but also play an identically important role in plant stress resistance. In t is paper, t e c arac-
teristics of calcium c annel proteins and t eir roles in plant salt and cold resistance are mainly review ed, so
as to provide t eoretical basis for t e elucidation of t e mec anism of calcium c annel proteins involvement
