技術資源管理能力對新產品開發績效影響之研究 劉常勇 國立中山大學企管系教授 摘要. 技術資源的取得、發展、監督、與充分利用﹐在技術策略形成與執行過程中﹐是一項極重要的技術管理工作。如何運用豐富的技術資源﹐有效進行技術創新與新產品開發﹐也是企業進行研究發展管理所關切的重要課題。技術資源管理包括﹕清點(Inventory)、評估(Evaluation)、最佳化(Optimize)、豐富化(Enrich)、監督(Surveillance)、保護(Protect)等六項主要功能﹐本研究擬探討技術資源管理能力對新產品開發績效的影響﹐經由深入的理論與文獻探討﹐發展影響關係的理論模式﹐並進行實證分析。 在探討技術資源管理能力與新產品開發績效關係的研究中﹐也將充分考慮「產業與企業地位」以及「組織的創新傾向」等兩項中介變數。前者屬於外部策略影響因素﹐對於技術資源配置會有很大影響﹐後者屬於內部組織因素﹐對於技術資源應用與新產品開發活動都有相當影響。本研究的應變數是新產品開發績效﹐其內容包括新產品成功上市機率、新產品開發進度達成率、開發專案超出預算比率、以及一些主觀判斷的滿意程度。 我國企業已逐漸進入以核心技術與資源做為創造競爭優勢的產業升級時代﹐對於技術資源管理問題內涵﹐做深入研究與瞭解﹐將具有學術與實務應用上的雙重意義。因此本研究除針對理論假說進行驗證外﹐還將提出一套可供業者參考的技術資源管理的程序模式。 關鍵字. 技術資源管理能力、新產品開發績效、組織創新傾向、核心技術能力。 The Impact of TRM to the Performance of New Product Development Chang Yung, Liu Department of Business Management National Sun Yat-Sen University Kaohsiung, Taiwan Abstract –Technology resource management function includes: inventory, evaluation, optimization, enrichment, surveillance, and protection, is the central theme to formation of technology strategy. How to enrich technology resource to promote innovation and develop new product is one of the most important subject to business RD. This research study the impact of technology resource management to the performance of new product development activities. We have proposed theoretical model and made hypothesis test in this research. Industry attractiveness, business position, and organization innovation are three factors which have been considered as interfacial variables in the research design. We use detailed literature survey and cases studies to build the theoretical structure. Follow by questionnaire survey, statistic analysis is used to test several hypotheses. Finally, a technology resource management procedure is proposed. Core technology and core competence have become the competitive advantage to many industry.
