Abstract

Up-conversion spectra of Er /Yb co-doped TeO －Nb O -Li O glasses were performed，and the

dazzle green up-conversion luminescence were observed with the naked eyes. The dependence
3+ 3+
of luminescence intensity on the ratio of Yb /Er was discussed in detailed, and the relation
between ratio of green luminescence to red luminescence and ratio of Yb3+/Er was also studied.
3+ 3+
The luminescence intensity increased with ratio of Yb /Er . For the ratio of green luminescence
3+ 3+
to red luminescence, there existed a maximum when ratio of Yb /Er is 3. The optimum TNL
glass was an excellent candidate for LD pumping microchip solid state laser.
