The main contents of the paper include: the optimization, improvement and in- ; , - novation on the form of space structures the collapse mechanism elastic plastic analysis and ultimate ; ; bearing capacity of nodal joints in space structures super long span structures development from heavy roofs to light roofs, from rigid structural systems to flexible systems; research and development of cable domes; simulation on the w hole construction process and new construction methods of large space struc- ; ; tures development from fixed roofs to retractable roofs development from simple design technology to manufacture informative integration technology; advances in theoretical research on space structures and health monitoring and reinforcing technology of space structures.
