H ow ever, because t eyw ere constructed and developedm ainly on t e basis of disturbed soils or sandy soils, t esemodels are not able to describe t e various nonlinear be avior induced by structural property of soi.l Subsequently, t e calcu lated resu lts can greatly d ifferentw it t e resu lts of tests per- formed in situ. Generally, natural soils ave structural property. So it is necessary to construct soil constitutive modelsw ic can take account of t e soil structural property. Some sc olars ave proposed soil constitutive models t at can take account of structural property on t e basis of allk inds of t eories andmet ods, and ave ac ieved sa-t isfactory resu lts. But up to now, t ere are few literatures to give a state of t e art review on soil structural constitu- tive models.
