Abstract: This article introduce the fiber model of OPENSEES and CANNY in detail and use the fiber model in
OPENSEES to model a reinforced concrete column and a reinforced concrete shearw al.l The comparison betw een
the computed results and the expermi ent results show s that the fibermodel of OPENSEES can stmi u late the nonlin-
ear deformation of the column and the shearw all.
