Abstract: The reliability of nondestr ctive testing and eval ation ( NDT E) relies on the inspection process.
The acc racy and reliability can be improved greatly if the appropriate q ality control techniq es are sed to analyze
and control factors d ring inspection process s ch as sampling, inspector, eq ipment, inspection data, defect
eval ation, and so on. The theories and application methods of some q ality control techniq es are introd ced
briefly, s ch as statistical sample, meas rement syst em analysis, eval ation of meas rement ncertainty , fa lt tree
analysis and even tree analysis, and their application in NDT E is disc ssed.
