Step 1: Ask students to read the introduction and point out the six parts of a short message.
①Write the date on the right top.
②The greeting,which hardly ever varies.
③The topic is what we are writing about.
④The message is what you want to say about the topic.
⑤There are a number of ways to close a message, including Best wishes,Yours truly
Love, etc.
⑥We sign our personal name for close friends.
