Ltd, Chengdu, Sichuan 10031, Ch ina) Abstract: esearch purposes: Through the discussion on the structure design of a new type of Supporting Structure - U - Shape Groove, this papermainly analyzes its key techn ical issues, such as the theoretical calculation mode,l loads, reinforcement and structure shop draw ing for provid ing the solution to the focal and difficu lt points in the structure design ofU - Shape Groove and provid ing som e reference to the smi ilar design. esearch conclusions:Now, the general and feasible method to analyze the Structure U - Shape Groove is based on the elastic theory. A ll the loads including their comb ination behavior should be considered reasonably. The structure shou ld be designed as the beam w ith single reinforcemen,t and some essential structuremeasures shou ld be taken on the sections w here there is stress concentration. Besides the stressed steel bar, the hoop, the distribution reinforcement and the reinforced steel bar for the control section are needed. In unfavorable geological area, the structure can be used w ith other engineeringm easures to meet the design requirements.
