输油管道在投产和运行中可能出现的事故和处理 18.1 Possible Accident Types of the Main Pump and Treatment Main kinds of failures with response procedures which may happen during commissioning are listed. 18.1.1 Mechanical Seal Leakage of Pump Two grades of protection are designed against seal leakage, HIGH protection and HIGH shutdown. In case that the leakage surpasses the HIGH protection value, the standby pump will be started, and the running pump must be shutdown immediately after the standby pump is started. In case that the strainer is blocked, switch the strainer clean the blocked strainer immediately. In case that it is caused by the pressure from the upstream station, inform the upstream station to raise discharge pressure. If the pressure cannot meet the requirement of the pump, shut down the pump, and restart the pump when the pressure meet the requirement of the pump. 18.1.3 Unexpected Power Failure of Pump and Motor Start the standby pump units immediately. 18.1.4 The Temperature of the Main Pump Bearing and Casing Surpasses the Alarming Value In case that the temperature of the pump bearing or the pump casing surpasses the over temperature alarming value, start the standby pump units immediately, then shut down the malfunctioned pump. Check the malfunctioned pump and clear the fault. 18.1.5 The Temperature of Pump Bearing and Casing Surpasses the Protection Value Shut down the pump immediately to protect the pump units, start the standby pump units at the same time. 18.1.6 The Pump Bearing Vibrates too seriously There are two grades of protection to the pump unit’s vibration, over high protection and over finite protection.
