Methods A n analysis retrospective ly w as m ade on the changes o f DD testing in 1 06 cases o f DVT at d ifferent per iods after onset and different clinica l stages of DVT, and DD testing in 9 9 patien ts w ith pr mi ary deep venou s insuffic iency PDV I ) as contro l group. Results DD w as h ighe r in the acute stage of DVT, and gradua lly decreased w ith tmi e in chronic DVT, and w as neg ative in the patients w ith PDV I; the positive rate w as up to 8 5. 7% in the d ista l DVT. Conclusions The DD testing can be u sed as one of the me thods for diagnosis, prediction and prognosis of acute DVT , espec ia lly for diagnosis o f d ista l DVT. ey words: T hrombophteb
