First, the possible scope of the plate is determined from the whole image by using the color characteristics. And then the initial located image by image processing techniques and the binarization ostu method is changed into a differential image T he number of the white pixels can. determine the gray level jump and the specific location of license plate can be determined by the gray, level jump. The results show that this method has the advantages of high positioning accuracy, strong anti-inference, high locating speed, and real-time capability.
