By Li Bin 当我们要表示“想做某事、需要 做某事或决定做某事”时,就会 出现两个动词连用的情况,这时 应如何表达呢? 主要行为动词后面的动词采用了 to+动词原形 的结构,我们把这种结构称为动词不定式 动词不定式没有人称和数的变化,在句子 不能作谓语。 1) It’s +形容词(+for sb)+to do sth. 如: It is good to help others. = To help others is good . (帮助他人是件好事。) It is exciting to surf the Internet. =To surf the Internet is exciting . (上网是件令人兴奋的事。) 2) 人+be+形容词+to do sth The children are very happy to hear from their teacher. 孩子们收到他们老师的信,非常高兴。 Tom was surprised to meet his uncle in Beijing yesterday. 昨天在北京见到叔叔,Tom 很吃惊。 3)物+be+形容词+to do The problem is a bit difficult to answer. 这个问题回答起来有点难。 These apples are not sweet to eat. 这些苹果吃起来不甜。 4.放在名词后,修饰名词 不定式可以放在名词的后面修饰名词,起形容词的作用。请看下列句子: I have a lot of homework to do. 我有很多作业要做。 I’m hungry. Give me something to eat, please. 我饿了, 请给我点吃的吧。 5.表目的:翻译成“为了……” I came to Beijing to see my grandpa. = To see my grandpa, I came to Beijing . 我来北京看望我爷爷的。 He reads English every morning to study English well. =To study English well, he reads English every morning. 为了学好英语,他每天早晨读英语。 6. 放在be后面,作表语 如:Our duty today is to clean the floor. 今天我们的任务是打扫地板。 Their jobs are to clean the room every day. 他们的工作就是每天打扫房间。 His advice is to come here before 8:00am. 他的建议是8点钟以前到这儿。 二、选择填空。 1.
