The report contains information on worldwide practices undertaken by States, with the support of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), in developing and applying suitable methodologies to integrate human rights into national policies and programmes, in accordance with their own particular needs and priorities. It is based on research undertaken by OHCHR on national and regional experiences in integrating human rights into public policies and programmes, taking into account national legislative frameworks and regional and international human rights instruments. Contents Paragraphs Page I.
