Students should have a Spanish-English, English-Spanish dictionary. --For every lesson, you will need to prepare the exercises from the website: /sabiasque5 (you do not have to turn these in). This is to do on your own (it does not count as homework). --A selection of grammar exercises and listenings from the workbook are available here. That is the “workbook”. The audio is online at /sabiasque5 (go to the Audio Program section). You have to turn in the workbook exercises the day of the exam. The quizzes will be based on the online exercises, the workbook, and the textbook exercises. --We will watch some movies and documentaries related to Spanish speaking countries during the class time. In the syllabus you can see the days when the films will be shown. The documentaries will be shown whenever we will have the time to do so. (They are available at the Language Lab). --Check the syllabus often; you will have here most of the materials you have to turn in. I will also give some others during the class time.
