Spring Golf Tournament 2005 The Chinese University of Hong Kong Medical Alumni Association Dear members, Following Tiger Wood’s amazing performance at the Masters, we, CUHK Medical Alumni Association will be holding our own version of Golf Masters Tournament. This year’s tournament will be held in The Jockey Club Kau Sai Chau Public Golf Course, Sai Kung. The details of the tournament follow: Date: 22nd June 2005 (Wednesday) Venue: The Jockey Club Kau Sai Chau Public Golf Course, Sai Kung Tee-time: p.m. Costs: HK$ 650 (green fee + dinner) per person Payment: send a cheque to Dr. Leung Ka Lau Department of Surgery, Prince of Wales Hospital Cheque made payable to The CUHK Medical Alumni Association Limited Deadline for enrollment: 8-6-2005 Buffet dinner Prizes: sponsored by Roche Hong Kong Limited Spouse and guests are welcome. Rules Regulations: Players will be divided into the two groups according to their handicap. Players with handicap of 24 or below will be competing in the North Course. Players with handicap above 24 will be competing in the South Course. Here are the following prize categories: Best net score (all 18 holes): 1st, 2nd, 3rd place Best net score by the New Orleans system: 1st, 2nd, 3rd place Closest to the pin: 4 prizes, two for each course Longest drive: 2 prizes, one for each course For the New Orleans system, the organizing committee will be randomly selecting a number of holes on the day of the tournament. Only the selected holes will be calculated towards the final net score. The player with the lowest net score will win the prize. Players will be automatically enrolled in all prize categories. In another word, a single player can the winners of both the “best net score (all 18 holes)” and the “best net score by the New Orleans system”.
