2.能听懂、会说、会读come to school, cold, fever, cough, headache.
3.能初步听懂、会说、会读、会运用句型This is ...speaking. May I speak to ...? I’m sorry to hear that. How are you? I’m fine, thank you./ Not so good. See you tomorrow. See you.
4.通过学习Story time和Cartoon time,能比较流畅地朗读对话,并能运用所学对话描述。
5.能熟练地朗诵诗歌《Doctor Wu》。
6.了解字母o在单词中的发音

Step 2. Presentation
1. T: (出示课文杨玲生病图)
Look,who’s she?
S: She’s Yang Ling.
(课件出示歌曲,以旧教材5a Unit6 What are you doing?调)
The telephone’s ringing. Who’s that speaking?
This is Yang Ling speaking.
What’s the matter?
I have a cold. I have a fever, too.
What’s the matter with Yang Ling?
Ss: She has a cold and a fever..
(teach: cold fever. )
Step3 Story time
(Part1)
1. T: Yang Ling is ill. She can’t come to school.
She wants to ask for leave. So she make a
call to Miss Li. Can you help her?
(teach: can’t come to school)
How to make a call?
(teach:电话用语 This is…speaking.
May I speak to …?)
Ss: discuss in pairs(两人一组讨论,说一说)
