Teaching aims:
(1). Learn and master the new words related to paintings.
(2). Enlarge the vocabulary in this section and apply them to practical use.
Teaching important point:
? Some words related to paintings:
?Watercolor, oil painting, canvas, acrylic paint, portrait, landscape, still life, pencils, paint brushes, easel, palette……..
Teaching difficult point:
?? How to help the students to master some words and expressions related to the paintings.

? Ask the students to learn the new words about the paintings
? Ask the students to do the exercises to practice it.

Teaching procedures:
? Step 1 Greetings
Greet the whole class as usual.
? Step 2 Lead-in
Before class, ask the students to surf the internet or refer to some reference books to get some information about types of painting and painting materials.
Ask the students to report their findings in class. You may ask the students to provide pictures or objects to show to the class if necessary.

Step 3: Part A
1. Ask the students to read the article about types of painting in Part A and fill in the chart below.
