T he results show ed that a- quatic extracts, especially leaf a d litter extracts, had sig ifica t i hibitory effects o root le gth, root fresh w eight a d root umber of the same chrysa themum species, compared to co trol. Aquatic extracts from all varieties had sig ifica t i hibitory effects o the root le gth, root fresh w eight a d root umber of cutti gs w ith i creasi g co ce tratio s of tissue extracts; How ever, the effect w as w eak at low er co ce tratio .
