The teacher ask Ss to watch the two sentences and tell the differences.Then the teacher gives more examples to demonstrate .Danny got invited to a sleepover party .Many people got seriously injured in the traffic accident .Jason got accepted as a member of the university’s soccer team Please notice that get+past participle is considered informal in some countries.As far as meaning is concerned ,the get+passive is more or less the same as be+passive.The sentence “Danny got invited to a sleepover partly”is almost the same as “Danny was invited to a sleepover party” 2 To be done An infinitive can take a passive form when its logical subject is actually the receiver of an action. Show some examples on the screen .I was glad to be invited to the birthday party the logical subject of the infinitive “to be invited” is “I”,while in fact, “I”is the receiver of “invite” .The problem remained to be solved when the meeting was approaching. the logical subject of the infinitive “to be solved” is “the problem”,while in fact , “the problem” is the receiver of “solve” 3 being done A “v+doing” phrase can take a passive form when its logical subject is actually the receiver of an action . the teacher shows some examples on the screen .The film “broken back mountain”being played was known by showing the stories of some gays The logical subject of “being played” is “the film”,while in fact “the fi
