The ability of learning andmemory was measured by step-through task and watermaze task. (2) PC12 cell was injured by Na S O and glutamine and the viability of cell was measured by MTT 2 2 4 method.Results:At the same dosageof herbal medicine,the three compositionscomposedby four fractions extracted from FBD,[Polysaccharide+ Volatile oil], [Polysaccharide+ Volatile oil+ n-Butanol-fraction] and [Polysaccharide+ Volatile oil + Water-fraction], shortenedswimming time obviously (P 0105), prolonged significantly step-through latency and decreasednumber of errorsin5minutes (P 0105~ 0101).
