襄樊学院专升本《阅读与写作》考试大纲 阅读与写作是英国语言文学专业的核心基础课程，也是本科专业的学位课，其任务是系统地讲授阅读技巧以及培养学生的读和写的能力，其目的是提高学生实际运用语言的能力，帮助他们在跨文化交流的过程中能流利地从事语言输入和语言输出的活动。为了检测专科学生在读和写方面的能力，也为了使报考我院英国语言文学本科专业的学生能明确该课程的性质、内容和复习重点，特编写此考试大纲，此大纲分阅读与写作两部分。 阅读部分 Part one. Vocabulary and reading Chapter one: Understanding signal words which can guide readers smoothly along the path of thought set down by the writer. Chapyer two: Understanding synonyms which can help readers to determine the meanings of unfamiliar words. Chapter three: Understanding antonyms which can provide the opposite meaning of a new word in context clues. Chapter four. Understanding context clues of words association which can help determine word relation in a sentence. Chapter five: Understanding context clues of repetition which can speed up readers’ reading and improve readers’ understanding Chapter six: Understanding comparisons and contrasts which can help readers understand the author’s ideas in a broader sense and thus make his reading more effective. Part two. Reading skills and reading comprehension Chapter one: skimming to identify the topic, which can help reader build up a better background on the topic in a short time.
