Module3 unit1 What are you going to do at the weekend?

Ⅰ.Teaching aims:
Knowledge aims
a)Grasp the new words and phrases: plan, revise for a test, have a picnic revise for my test stay in bed o my homework buy some clothes play table tennis visit my parents etc
b)Grammar:Be going to+动词原形表达一般将来时。
2.Ability aims
To promote the students’ abilities of reading, speaking, listening and writing.
3. Emotion aims
a)使学生形成自主学习的能力,养成统筹安排的好习惯。
通过互相问答练习,锻炼学生的交际能力,加强同学之间的交流与合作,形成互帮互助的良好学习氛围。
Ⅱ.Teaching important and difficult points
Key points: 学习Be going to结构描述将来要做的事
Difficult points: 熟练准确地运用Be going to结构谈论打算做的事。

Step1.Lead-in
First, the teacher show the students the pictures and guess how to say them in English. And then,the teacher will show the answers.

Step2.New teaching.

B) Practice:
Ask every student make one sentence.
c)Ask and answer
Ask: What is he/she going to do at the weekend?
What are they going to do at the weekend?
Answer: He/She is going to check her email./have a piano lesson./revise for his test etc. (边问边出示多媒体图片,师生互相问答和个别问答相结合.)
Step3.Listening
Tell the students: We’re going to listen to a dialogue between Daming and Betty.
Listen to the tape once and do Activity4
Listen to the tape again and call back the answers from the whole class.
Step 4 Listen and read
Listen to the dialogue again and read, then practice and act it out. (听录音跟读,并结合学生的实际情况表演对话.)
Step 5 Detail explanation
New structure: 教师通过课件介绍对话中的主要句型。
1. I often get up late on Sundays.
But next Sunday, I am going to get up early.
2.I usually wash my clothes on Sunday afternoon.
But next Sunday afternoon, I am going to have a picnic with my friends.
