Analysis on Carbon Emission Intensity and Emission Ｒeduction
Potential of Energy Consumption of Gansu Province

Abstract :The article selects primary energy consumption varieties and systematically estimates the total carbon emissions
and carbon intensity of energy consumption of Gansu province from 1996 to 2011 ，predicting the carbon emission intensity
of energy consumption of Gansu province from 2011 to 2020 by gray prediction method GM (1，1)． Also，it analyzes the
level of low － carbon development and carbon reducing potential of Gansu province． At last ，it puts forward some counter-
measures in promoting low － carbon economics in Gansu province．
