Revision Let the students look at the picture in activity 1a. And ask some students to answer some questions in order to check the homework. Say, Is there a library near here? Where is it? Is there a bank near here? Where is it? Put up the picture of activity 2a on the blackboard and ask them to make conversations. Step 2. Presentation (3a) Guide the students to guess the meanings of the three traffic signs. Show the pictures and ask some questions about the pictures. Then ask the students to hold up their left hands and then their right hands to practice “left” and “right”. Point to the picture and let the students read the conversation. Ask the students to read the conversations. Then ask them to find Paul and Nancy in the picture. Ask the students to role play the conversation then point out the place that Paul wants to get to. Step 3. Complete the conversations (3b) Ask the students to make conversations and answer the questions below each picture. The students point out the place in the picture.
