Methods They carried out the experiment by using the method of pre- ventive fat metabolic disorder model. Results compound tablets of tea polyphenol ( at doses of 150 and 750 mg/ kg) have the funct ion of reducing body weight, internal organs fat ( P 0. 05) and serum total cholesterol (TC) ( P 0. 01) . At dose of 750 mg/ kg, it has the function of decreasing fat/ weight ratio( P 0. 05) . At dose of 30, 150 and 750 mg/ kg, it has signif icant effectiveness in decreasing serum triglyceride( TG) ( P 0. 01) and raising high density lipoprotein and serum total cholesterol ( HDL- C/ TC) at different levels( P 0.05, P 0. 01) . Conclusion The compound tablets of tea polyphenol have the effect of serum lipid-reducing and body weight-reducing.
