Ch ina Academy of Engineering hysics, Mianyang 621000, Sichuan, Ch ina) Abstract: Thispaper relies on thewater culture of3kinds ofeconomic crops(Garlic sprouts, Allium as2 calonicum, and Brassica chinensis) in different water qualitiesunderwinter condition, studies each of their growth status andpurification effecton water quality ofrunningwater, synthetic domesticwastewater and domesticwastewater. The result shows that among those 3 kinds ofwater qualities, Garlic sprouts have the highest growth rate and best purification effect. Its removal rates ofCO cr, TN and TP reach 80. 9%, 97. 2% and 97. 9% respectively. And these 3 kinds ofcrops can be used as overwintering op2 tion crops forwastewater aquatic organism treamt ent system in low temperature seasons.
