Abstract: Three scatter calibration factors of Co therapy unit w ere calculated by using
MonteCarlo method. The effects of radiation field and depth to total scatter calibration
factor Sc, p and the phantom scatter calibration factor Sp of 60 Co therapy unit w ere also
calculated. The calculating results agree w ell w ith the measuring results. Sc, p and Sp in
c, p p
crease w ith the increasing of the fields. S and S have increasing trend w ith depth in
creasing w hile beam
