In the process of reverse engineering products designing, the reconstruction of CAD model for the real product is the key. Pro/ENGINEER is a 3D automatic models designing software from the company PTC, which is powerful in building digital models and widely used in Mechanical Designing field. In this paper, it simply tells the concept, system structure and application scope of Reverse Engineering, but it tells the tips and steps of how to design products in detail, according to the data files measured by Pro/E with real product models.
