The daily blood pressure selfmon itoring by using electron ic BP mon itor is an mi portantw ay to prevent serious card iovascular events. A new method for design ing electron ic BP mon itor is pro posed: firstly, determ ine the singlew aves peak points of Sasser; secondly, determ ine the best fitting curve and fit the contour line of Sasser; then, findmaxmi um of the contour line, select integration interval and determ ine the loca tion ofDBP and SBP by the proposed integral formula and the location of themaxmi um, and finally determ ine DBP and SBP.
