主讲人简介与课程大纲 主讲人:凯文·L.·拉德(Kevin L. Ladd) Dr. Ladd is an Associate Professor of Psychology at the Indiana University South Bend. He got his Ph.D. in Social / Experimental Psychology from University of Denver, 2000. He has studied and taught the psychology of religion for over two decades. His most recent publications in the area include a text (The Psychology of Prayer: A Scientific Approach, Guilford Press, 2013) and several chapters and articles on the psychology of prayer (many co-authored with field founder Dr. Bernard Spilka). Many publications are based on experimental and qualitative research supported by grants from the John Templeton Foundation ($1.7 million USD). A member of the Board of Directors of the oldest organization devoted to the field (The International Association for the Psychology of Religion) and a leader in the American Psychological Association, Division 36, Dr. Ladd has lectured and taught extensively in the US, Europe, and Brazil; during the Spring semester of 2013, he will serve as a Visiting Fellow at Cambridge University in the UK. He recently led a delegation of APA Division 36 members to an inaugural conference co-sponsored by Renmin University of China and Minzu University of China. The papers from that conference are undergoing translation for publication in Mandarin. 主讲课程: Psychology of Religion Conducted in English, this course provides exposure to theoretical bases (e.g., behavioral, humanistic, phenomenological) and empirical research programs and methods (e.g., biology, conversion, coping, health, human development, mental disorder, mysticism) developed by psychologists in an attempt to elucidate the origin and role of religion with regard to the human psychological experience.
