This test can be performed for materials or parts. 2. Test procedure 1. Before UV-test measure sample color using L*a*b* system. In case of transparent samples also transparency need to be measured. Sometimes samples / sample area is so small that only visual inspection can be done. 2. Use at least two same kinds of samples for the test and leave one for reference. (In special case when there is no reference sample available, part of the test sample can be covered with aluminum tape / foil to cover reference area. However, this is not as reliable as with a separate reference sample). 3. Attach the samples to the sample holders 4. Run the test. 5. After the test check the samples after 2 hours recovery time. 6. Check the sample visually comparing tested and untested area to each others. 7. Finally after UV-test measure sample color using L*a*b* system. In case of transparent samples also transparency need to be measured. 8. Compare results measured before and after the test and calculate ΔE00-value The test equipment is QUV Accelerated Weathering Tester. The test consists of 12 cycles,each cycle being 8 hours long, total test period is then 96 hours. One cycle consists of 4 hours UV exposure (UV-A, 340 nm, 0.63W/m2/nm and 60°C) and then 4 hours moisture exposure (50 °C). For outdoor stationary products test shall be done two times (2x96h).Measurements according Color measurement instructions. When sample is too small to be measured only visual inspection shall be done.After the UV-tes
