METHODS D iscuss the technology research status and the equ ipm entm anufacturing level ofm olecular d istillation in the field of natural med ication separation and purification, based on literature and the ach ievem ent of self practical w ork, in China. RESULTS In China, m olecular distillation has been applied in natural med ication separation and purification further and w ider and both its technology research and equipm ent m anufacturing are inclining to be perfect. CONCLU SION A s one k ind of special tech n ique for therm osensitive separation and precise purification, application prospect ofm olecu lar d istillation in naturalm edication spara tion and purification is h ighly recomm ended.
