Methods:To get the scattered singlerabbit articu- lar cartilage with thehelp of collagenase II and trypsinps digestion. Observe morphological changes of different generation rabbit articular cartilage cells which were cultured by monolayer culture. To detect the expression of collagen II and proteoglycan of different generationps rabbit articular cartilage cells by immunocytochemical.Re- sults: igh purity cartilage cells from rat costal cartilage expressed, which were digested by collagenase II and trypsin.It was confirmed by immunohistochemistry and toluidine blue staining.
