T cellmediated mi munity has been involved in the pathophysiology ofmany diseases such as cancer, automi mune disease and so on. Study on regulation mechanisms of T cell development and function w ill not only contribute to uncover mechanism of disea ses, and also provide ideas for prevention and treatment of related disease. Recently, researches abroad have showed that sonic hedgehog ( SHH ), acting as a key mophorgen during development of early embry o, not only regulated T cell development in every stages but also had effect on proliferation and activation of peripheralmatureT cel.l SHH maybe an mi portant regulator to T cell development and function. Here we review the SHH signaling pathway and its biological function, regulation of SHH on T cell develop ment and function in this paper.
