湖北省第九届初中英语说课比赛稿(一) Unit 6 ?I’m more outgoing than my sister. SectionB?3c 湖北省咸宁市温泉中学唐蕾 ???Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. I am Tang Lei from Wenquan Middle School of Xianning. Today I’m going to talk about 3c of Section B Unit 6, from Grade 8 Go For It. I will explain it mainly from the following 6 parts: ?analysis of the teaching meterial, analysis of the students, analysis of teaching and learning methods, teaching procedures,blackboard design and reflection. ? ?Ⅰ. Analysis of the teaching material 1. Status and content This class is from Section B in Unit 6. In this unit, it mainly talks about personal traits. We should teach students the comparative degrees of adjectives and how to compare people. I’ll divide this unit into 5 periods, and 3c is the last one. The students are required to write about the things that are the same and different between them and their friends. Since this part is interesting and related to the students themselves, it is a good chance to arouse the students’ interests in learning English and to improve their writing ability. And this part enables the students to use all the knowledge they learnt in this unit, so not only is this part a revision, but also we can check how well they master the functions and structures. Besides, the comparative degrees of adjectives is the key point and difficult point during middle school, comparing people is very useful as well, so finishing 3c is very important. 2. Teaching aims and demands (1) Knowledge aims To review the comparative degrees of adjectives. To use the functions and structures in this unit freely. (2) Ability aim To train students’ writing skills. (3) Emotion aims ?To make the students have a positive attitude and get a deep understanding of friendship—to realize that everyone is special. 3. Teaching key point and difficult point (1) Key point To master the useful expressions and use them to express their own ideas. (2) Difficult point How to improve the students’ writing ability by
