Methods MM P-3 5A /6A gene polym orphism s w ere analyzed in 5 1M S patients( M S group) and 55 healthy people( control group) w ith polym erase chain reaction( PCR)-ligase detection reaction( LDR) techno-l ogy. Results There w as no sign ificant d ifferences in allelic frequencies and the distribution of genotype of MMP-3 gene betw een the patients and controls. onclusion No m arked association could be found bewt een 5A /6A polym orph ism in MM P-3 gene and MS susceptib ility.
