However, along with the gradually diminishing relative advantage of the population in China, the corporations are faced with challenges in the sustainable development. And the implementation of the program named “machine substitution for human labor” is the definite choice of the manufacturing corporations in Ningbo for transformation and upgrading. This paper is based on the abundant spot investigation from the research group in “machine substitution for human labor” of Ningbo. The current state and the bottleneck problems are analyzed and summarized for the implementation of the program of “machine substitution for human labor” in Ningbo.
