Teaching procedures:
Step1. Leading-in
Have a free talk with the students about their favourite colours, hobbies,
school life,study and so on..
Step2.Presentation
1. Present the topic of the unit: Teenage problems
Explain that most teenagers have problems.Tell students if they need to talk
about their problems, they should talk to their teachers, friends or family.Tell
them that having a problem is nothing to be ashamed of-everyone has
worries from time to time.
2. Play the tape for the students, listen and find out what problem Eddie has.
3. Listen again then check the answer.(He is getting fat.)
4. Read the dialogue carefully and find out how to deal with the problem.
(Don’ eat too much./It’s unhealthy to eat too much. Try more exercise.)
Practise the dialogue in groups then in pairs.

Ask the students to complete the sentences, check in pairs.
